Exam Pattern & Syllabus: The PTET exam consists of four sections:
- Mental Ability: Logical reasoning, decision-making, creativity.
- Teaching Attitude & Aptitude: Social maturity, leadership, communication skills.
- General Awareness: Current affairs, Indian history, environmental studies.
- Language Proficiency (Hindi/English): Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary.
Each section carries 50 questions, with each correct response earning 3 marks. There is no negative marking, but responses in the Attitude & Aptitude section carry graded scores (3, 2, 1, or 0).
PTET Counselling Process: Eligible candidates must:
- Register for counselling by paying INR 5,000.
- Fill out preferred college choices.
- Wait for seat allotment results.
- Pay an admission fee of INR 22,000 to lock the seat.
- Appear for document verification with all original documents.
College Allotment & Upward Movement: Those unhappy with their allotted college can opt for upward movement. Final admission is granted after verification and fee submission. Waitlisted candidates may get a chance based on merit.
Exam Centres: PTET 2025 is being conducted across multiple cities in Rajasthan including Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Alwar, and Bikaner, among others.
